Emotional Christmas written by author Bruce E. Mowday

CHADDS FORD _ Emotional Christmas contains 36 wonderful paintings of Christmas and holiday scenes by artist Karl J. Kuerner. The book was released by Squire Cheyney Books this week.

“Karl’s paintings cover all of the emotions of the holiday season,” said author Bruce E. Mowday. Mowday interviewed Kuerner and wrote the background for each featured rendering. “Christmas is a joyful season. Many of us recall wonderful moments in our childhood. For some, remembering lost family and friends is a solemn time. Karl covers all of the emotions.”

Emotional Christmas is the third “Emotional” book completed by Kuerner and Mowday. The other two are Emotional Gettysburg and Emotional Brandywine. To accompany Kuerner’s paintings, Mowday wrote the history of the Civil War battle of Gettysburg and the American Revolution battle of Brandywine and the impact of those important historical events on citizens today.
