July 31, 2019

The first signing of author Bruce E. Mowday’s new book, Stealing Wyeth, will take place on Saturday, August 17, at Kathy’s Corner Store in North East, MD.

“I’m honored that Kathy Roff has invited me back to her store for another book signing,” Mowday said. “It is always a pleasure being at Kathy’s store at 100 South Main Street. This signing is special as it will be the first one with my new book.”

Stealing Wyeth is being released August 5 by Barricade Books of Fort Lee, NJ. The book recounts the theft of 15 famous works of art worth millions of dollars from the estate of Andrew Wyeth. Seven of the paintings were by Andrew Wyeth, six of his son Jamie and the other two by other artists. The book details information about the Wyeth family, the theft, the criminals and the law enforcement team.

“The first printing was distributed weeks before the official release and a second printing has been ordered,” Mowday said. Mowday has accepted book talks and signings at various locations in four states in the coming months. For a signed, first edition copy of the book, contact Mowday at mowday@mowday.com. Books are available through Barnes & Noble, Barricade Books and Amazon.
